This session is presented by Arvids (Arv) Petersons, who serves as the Assistant Attorney General, Chief Counsel and Director of the Missouri Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU). The U.S. Office of the Inspector General (OIG) recently awarded Missouri’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit with the “Inspector General’s Award for Excellence in Fighting Fraud, Waste and Abuse” as a result of the Unit’s performance in 2023. This informational webinar will focus on the Attorney General’s Office prosecution of perpetrators of abuse and neglect of nursing home residents, as well as health-care professionals who defraud the Medicaid program.
