Professional Biography
Collett P. Small is a founding Partner of Slater & Small PLLC. She served as the Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar 2017-2018. Ms. Small is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a Specialist in Elder Law. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from Florida International University and her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law.

She serves on the Executive Council of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. She is on the Board of Directors for the Weston Bar Association. Ms. Small is past chairperson for both the Continuing Legal Education Committee and the Law School Liaison Committee for the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar. She also served on the Florida Bar Diversity and Inclusion Standing Committee. She is a member of the Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar as well as the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
