Professional Biography
Heather E. Voorn is a partner with Voorn, Jaworski, & Preston, PLLC where she devotes her legal practice to Elder Law. Ms. Voorn is a Certified Elder Law Attorney, a member of the Council of Advanced Practitioners and regularly serves as a Guardian ad Litem.  In addition to her membership in NAELA and the Illinois Chapter, she is a member of the Illinois and Will County Bar Associations, and the Estate Planning Council of Greater Joliet.  She is a director on the board of the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, CASA of River Valley.  Heather is accredited by the U.S. Dept of Veterans Affairs and serves on the faculty of the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education with whom she co-authored chapters in Advising Elderly Clients and their Families and Special Needs Trusts.  Heather earned her Bachelor’s in Criminology from the Florida State University and her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School.
